Vases and pots
Plants are more a living presence than a decoration in a house or in an interior, but also serve very well as colorful and vivid underlining for the room or the corner where they are placed.
Plants and flowers, in their pots and vases, add the infinite beauty of natural forms and colors to the environment, moving and brightening the scene with their changing state.
The beauty of plants and bunches of flowers can be even enhanced and highlighted by a proper vase or pot, thus exponentially increasing the aesthetic appeal of the room.
Pots are usually in earthenware, ceramic or stone (the plants live better), or in resin or other plastic materials that recall stone and terracotta, but much lighter to carry and to move.
Vases open a whole chapter. The latest trends have highlighted their function and presence in the home and contract décors, designers, stylists and manufacturers offers now an incredible variety of pieces for shape, design, material, style that ranges from the classic decorated or smooth crystal or Bohemia glass to the top futuristic polymers treated to resemble fabric or stone or whatever other material (oh the progress, you can't even record its achievements that they are already overcome by newer inventions.).
The minimalistic side calls for smooth lines and shapes, while the colors can be anything from transparent to soft or brightly acid and vivid.
Technically vases can be provided with many devices, mostly to keep the plants and flower moisture.
Tall vases can be used as umbrella stands, can host plants and small trees, or be decorated with colored branches or tall exotic blades of grass for an ethnic touch; this way suiting entrances, halls, passageways in malls and shopping centers, as urban décor. Vases are perfect for dividing guest spaces in terrace or patio restaurants for example, but there are infinite possibilities to enrich the space with them, according to taste, budget, personal inclination and (why not) also green thumb.
