Tub chairs

Cleared what the chair structure is, it is more than evident that there are many kinds of chairs that crowd the world of furniture and decoration, spread out in the most varied environments from public to private interiors.

Chapter after chapter we are determined to describe what they mean for us, in this small chapter we would like to stop a short moment on the tub chairs.

Far from being anything involved with the bathing or the bathroom, tub chairs are simply built with an armrest/backrest structure obtained or assembled to be a whole, continual piece, at times leaning on the floor directly or by feet or supports. It effectively resembles the construction of half a bathtub, but of course the purpose and use are totally different. Generally, backrest and side armrests are equally tall or with slight difference.

Most of the times who sits in a tub chair has the feeling to be the structure that embraces his back and sides. Tub chairs have no single destination in decors, they can go well in offices as guest chairs, in conference rooms or meeting occasions, possibily rovided with writing tablets and joined in rows, with fold-up or flapping seats. They find special attention in waiting areas in doctors or professionals studies, outside public offices (courts, city councils...). in lecturehalls and so on.

Many versions and finishes are also suitable for restaurants or in general for reidential or public dining rooms.
