Public insitutions: the places you wish to avoid at most because it means usually a large waste of time compensated by little efficiency. This isn't valid always and everywhere and that make us hope in the future of mankind.

But sooner or later, for manifold reasons, you are much likely going to step into one or more of such institutions, in schools, universities, hospitals, banks, infant schools, hospices, health care, railways offices, ministries, tax offices, tribunals, government offices and all those other places in which laws and rights are respected, granted and applied.

Also these buildings and places need to be furnihed and decorated according to their purpose, so we will have chairs and tables for waiting areas and canteens, equipped beds, desks and filing cabinets, kitchen cabinets and appliances for preparing food and so on.
These are of couse mainly specially dedicated items living in a wolrd quite apart from everyday's furnishing (except for some connecting traits).

Materials have to be special tested, expressly designed to accomplish a specific task, certified according to all the special laws and requirements for equipping a public place (much stricter and more articulated than for standard furniture).
