The versatile poufs
The Poufs are a complement of extreme versatility and of the most varied materials, for outdoor and indoor use and for the living room , the entrance, the bedrooms in the private homes as well as in the public places such as restaurants, bars, hotels, receptions, leisure resorts at the seaside or in the mountains and many others.
Choosing a pouf is very simple, at least it seems, because in reality things turn out to be a bit different. The purpose of a pouf is not always the same nevertheless the material or the shape but the main thing is the destination. The multipurposity innate in the poufs and footstools set them in an uncertain path where they can both be a hassock, a spare seat or a coffee table in living rooms, conversation corners, waiting areas, a vanity coffee table0 or a nightstand in a bedroom, a side table or a small table in entrances and hallways, a support or a shelf in receptions or lounge areas.
It can even be hollow to be used as storing unit for any of the previously mentioned interiors...
Apparently, the pouf has so many uses and functions that if ever provided with an even minuscule brain it could show behavioral derangement. But it may also be the most loved piece because everybody would compete to use it.
The classical shapes for a pouf are the cube and the cylinder, but the variations on the theme are practically infinite. It can or not have feet or frame, it may or not be stuffed or upholstered, it may be made in wood, metal, plastic, textiles, or in any combination of the previous. It may be classic, traditional, ultra modern, superfashionable, algidly minimal in any of the forms the fantasy of the designer conceived and still remain totally recognizable as a pouf.
