Introduced for the first time in 2004 at International Chair Exhibition in Udine (Italy), after 12 months' study by Riccardo Rivoli, Sgaby barstool finally left the virtual realm and allowed the world to enjoy its superb, unexpected lines.

As one of the height adjustable bar stools, it is made with a swiveling base in sateen or chromed stainless steel; it features an oak veneered multilayer beech shell and a footrest in turned sateen aluminum. Veneered shell available bleached, natural, wenge stained oak, but in the PLUS version the front side is padded and leather covered in one of the 20 colours in ILS palette.
For a minimum stock order of 20 pieces, ILS can produce the shell either stained, lacquered or laminate in any color.

Subtraction here as synonym of minimalism is stretched to the extreme: the shell is a single, double bended piece, double pierced for handle and footrest, an uninterrupted flow of gentle energy and fluid lines, counterbalancing the rigor of squared lines with the smoothing of the angles.
