Created in 1937 by Giò Ponti to decorate the Arts department in Padua University in Italy, Livia chair has been re-issued by L'abbate starting from 2005.

Made accordingly to the original design, Livia chair features a very elegant frame made of solid beechwood either stained in 3 shades or lacquered in 11 different colours all recalling summer (orange, red, turquoise, yellow, green and light green, white, black, custard, vanilla, blue).
The seat is in plywood in the same frame colour, but is also available in upholstered padded version. The foam is certified fire-retardant class 1M by CATAS-DIN.

Splendidly looking if set in a very modern and trend-oriented home kitchen, it can suit a dining room as well, either in private homes or in public places as restaurants or hotels.
Its line and timeless shaped elegance has nothing to envy to the newly designed pieces of ultimate tendencies, as perfection never expires.
