The minimal benches and the alternative benches
Abused, misused and overused as it is, the word minimal needs to be brought back to its original sense and meaning, i.e. the subtractive value: simple, straight lines, no superfluous details, natural colors and understated but clear personality.
The minimal benches are an expression of these concepts, in this case we intend them to be a bit enlarged by the playful use of materials: more colors, merging of geometrical lines, inventive shapes, which are proper to the alternative benches with which we think they go along as a very weel assorted couple.
In fact the section is not limited to the minimal but also to the particularly inventive and fanciful, quirky and eccentric objects that function as benches. They are easily set in many environments, the most modern and contemporary that would be liven by a gracefully designed piece to accommodate guests and fellow diners, in waiting areas of up-to-date offices and hotels, in modern eateries and snack bars.
We'd like to add our personal contribution to the vast and wavy world of minimalism with these benches.
