Waves

Waves is an elegant and colourful folding chair proposed by Figuræ during Chicago's Neocon fair in 2007. This chair takes the name by its waving and moving silhouette and has been designed by Danish architect Jens Ring Bursche.

The Waves chair can fully be considered an eco-friendly piece of furniture, because it is completely made of 100% recyclable materials. The external surface is made of polypropylene available in red, orange, yellow, ivory, dark grey, light blue, lilac and lime green colour. The frame is reinforced by inner steel plates and when folded the chair seems to be obtained by a single molded piece artistically cut out.

With its high-tech features Waves is light and sturdy at the same time. The following certifications can confirm it: static load on seat, back, side and front legs, wearing resistance on seat and back and particularly on the seat forepart, impact on seat and back, all according to UNI EN 1728:2000.

Thanks to all its peculiarities Waves can be the ideal chair for outdoors, for contract use for example in fashion restaurants and meeting areas, and also for the residential furnishing in kitchens or patio sets.

Every set of the Waves chair includes 2 or 4 pieces and a base to stack them when they are folded. Waves can be sold directly to the private users, with a delivery time of 3 weeks in the said minimum quantities of 2 or 4.

Dimensions of the single open chair are: H80 W48,5 D48, seat height 44 cm.
Dimensions of 4 stacked Waves outdoor chairs are: H94,5 W34,5 D48 cm.
