Office furniture: the minimal office desks
In the office of your dreams, wouldn't you lke to have all glossy and sheer surfaces, glass, wood, shiny metal, high profile pieces and maximumfunctionality and practicality?
Let's start with the table:it is easier to keep a desk tidy if it is ibeautiful and bright, and a minimalist desk may also induce to think that the features of the chosen furniture reflects the personality of the worker, in other words essentiality, accuracy and reliability.
Since the adjective "minimal" is abused, there is no need to explain its meaning, but in our subjective perception the minimalistic has an added value since it takes all the superfluous away, leaving only beauty to express itself naturally.
The famous Architect Mies van der Rohe, father of Bauhaus era claimed that beauty is a consequence of rationality.
It may sound a bit overemphasized perhaps, especially when talking about office desks, but at the very end the environment influences the mood and the performance of the workers, so the more beautiful the better especially if it is supported by based upon rationality and quality.
