Bookcases
The object "bookcase" is plain and of easy comprehension.
The bookcase is a piece of furniture born to host books and similar.
But if it were so simple there would be no need to spend a word on bookcases.
In fact, under this name we summarize all those pieces of furniture originally born with the idea to host books, but many of them are very inventive and innovative and go beyond the initial concept of book holder.
There are some pieces of great design, there are pieces which are also storage units in some of their parts, there are filing cabinets for office and shelving wall units, as well as bare, minimal planks stained, lacquered, laminated or made of glass or metal, nakedly and minimally fixed directly to the wall. There are pieces working as partition walls and pieces built to be the room's protagonist.
There are pieces privileging functionality against design and others whose purpose is not to carry heavy loads but more to be noticed.
Well, have a look and you'll be surprised by the bookcases we display.
